Obama: Health Care Negotiations shall be Open to the Public

I got this link off the website from a local radio talk show host Dori Monson in Seattle, it is very interesting how Obama pledges on 8 different occasions to make the health care negotiations open to the public (on C Span) and not behind closed doors. Wow that was then, what happened? Totally behind closed doors and only one party....now that’s really open!!!! Please take the time to listen, it is short and if you like it, forward it on. It's only about a sixth of our budget, not too important. Oh yeah and have you noticed how they are trying to take their time so they get it right (what is the big rush).

Nobel Prize

It is Great that the Nobel People felt that Obama has done more for peace in the world, in the last year, than any other person. I mean give me a break, he was nominated 12 days(Feb 1, 2009) after he was sworn in.
Is Mr. Obama looking out more for himself instead of the American People?
Don't run to Europe to promote Chicago for the Olympics, don't run of to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, and don't accept the Peace Award, demand that it be given to someone who actually worked for Peace in the World, not talked about it. Don't take all this time to pass Cap & Trade, and all this time spent on the Health Care Bill (we all know that this country needs major health care reform), what is needed is JOBS and they are needed NOW not next year or the year after, they are needed NOW, American People should demand that Congress work on getting JOBS NOW, the other issues should take second place. We keep getting deeper in debt because people can't spend money on things that will make the economy grow, especially can't afford to pay their taxes. Without a job no one can pay anything.

ACORN: Should it be investigated? And is Fed Funding coming back?

I have been hearing about ACORN misdeeds for months now, not just the videos that came out but many prior deeds that have come into question about the organization. Since the Federal Government gives money to them, Why shouldn't the FBI at least investigate some of these accusations? I certainly hope that Attorney General Eric Holder in not holding back from investigating ACORN because of Obama's prior involvement with ACORN.

Health Care: Why so Fast?

We all know that we need Health Care to be reformed in this country. But why is the White House trying to move so fast. The Senate version has been written by Democrats "Only" behind close doors for 6 weeks and it is over 2,000 pages long, and then they expect the Republicans to turn around and vote yes. What has happened to the Days of Compromise, now it is vote the Party Line, what has Happened to Putting the Country First and the Party Second. I think we need to slow down and read all of the Health Care Bills before Congress, not just parts of them. If we do this too fast, in my mind we could be in for many errors and problems in the future.
Big Government can lead to much fraud, take for example Medicare has approximately $60 Billion in fraud. That's $60 Billion that, us the taxpayers are shelling out. I know that since we are now dealing in Trillions that doesn't sound like much, but it is!!!
I would apprciate any comments from readers.

Stimulus: Why isn't it Stimulating Jobs?

I'm not an Einstein, so can someone explain to me how the Stimulus Package is going to put people back to work. I do not understand how the government spending money, will create jobs.
I may be The Fiscal Conservative, but please if you have more liberal views, I would love to hear your views concerning this subject, or on any subjects in this Blog. I do not want to hear from conservatives only.

Why has Europe's unemployment stayed fairly steady and America's risen so high?

Governments: Least Efficient

Can someone explain to me this: Since one of the least efficient entities is government. And by that I mean for every dollar they receive how much goes toward the overhead(salaries etc) compared to what actually gets spent on producing whatever they are suppose to produce.
That being said; why would I, as a Tax Paying Citizen, want to keep giving more money to the Government?
